July- How to Manage and Embrace a New Reality

I can personally attest to the unusual energy of these changing times, as can many in our community of energy lightworkers. We often share our experiences at community events and in our ceremonial spaces. One of the most profound and helpful strategies I have used to balance myself is to remain grounded and centered, connected to Gaia, Earth, the Mother. It sounds simple, but many are still struggling, even though they know this is what is needed. They find themselves leaving their bodies or losing their focus very easily. We often attribute this to the natural process of aging or brain fog, but it is much more than that. Our physical bodies are communicating something on a larger scale, and we need to pay attention to it. It may feel like trying to find a needle in a haystack, but if you have been taking care of your temple, your physical container, then you may find this much easier to be aware of. 

I can tell those who are attuned to Reiki and those who are not. I can attest that the folks on the Reiki journey are quicker to understand their bodily sensations. They can listen and respond quickly to their needs while tapping into their intuition. They are able to connect to their bodies, despite many other factors that attempt to impede their bodies’ ability to communicate with them. Those factors include what we ingest and what we put on our bodies, such as lotions and creams. Additionally, the environments in which we live contain pollutants and contaminants in our food, air, and water. 

As we enter this new reality, we must be mindful and make better choices. It’s surprising how many great options are available to enhance our daily living. Reiki energy can help cleanse our environment, food sources, water, and air. I use Reiki regularly to improve what I ingest, but also because it helps me integrate products into my physical being. As I begin to vibrate at a higher level, I don’t need as much from the physical world, and I can choose higher-quality products that require very little extra energy and cleansing. It synchronistically enhances all aspects of myself. Over time, you can learn to feel the vibration of the products you wish to choose. For example, you can determine whether a food is beneficial for you to ingest or not. You can feel if it is vibrating at a rate that works with you. If you are vibrating at a lower rate, a higher vibrational product may be too intense, but one with a lower vibration may not be adequate for your needs.

For me, the one thing that I can always use to discern what is right for me is Reiki. I can use it anywhere and at any time I need it. I practice Self-Reiki in the evening to ground myself after a day of intense human interaction. In the morning, it's meditation or a quick morning ritual with some integration from the previous night's dreams. I channel lifeforce to help clear and ground myself before going to bed. I can easily do this sitting and resting. I appreciate the calmness it brings, even in stressful moments with life's inevitable ups and downs. 

Along with Reiki and the other daily practices I have shared, here are some tips I have used to help align with my new reality.


Tips for aligning to the new reality

  1. Note your dreams. Journal and reflect on the details the next day.
  2. Check in with your body. Are you tired and achy or on top of the world? Notice the areas of your body that are impacted and which chakra they relate to. What is that telling you? 
  3. Use muscle testing. Make decisions through your higher knowing that aligns with your body. For example, use the arm-strength method to be sure that taking a particular supplement or over-the-counter medication will be beneficial for you.
  4. Ground yourself daily. Go into nature and go barefoot as often as possible, indoors and outside. When the weather does not permit, use a grounding mat or wear grounding shoes.
  5. Acknowledge unexpected emotions. Suppressing feelings can lead to stagnation and increase the risk of disease. First, discern if they are coming from either the field or noise (energetic interference, which includes thoughts from others, or unresolved emotions resurfacing). A release may be necessary to move blocked energy or accumulated entanglement from others. Reiki is suitable for this.
  6. Practice compassion.  Go within and keep working on compassion for yourself and others. Ultimate unconditional love has no judgment. Reiki is another way to replenish yourself with positive energy and cultivate compassion.
  7. Document synchronicities. Take note and look for meaning behind recurring patterns, like repeating numbers and number sequences.
  8. Accept change without attachment. You may notice behaviour changes in people around you. People may suddenly leave the community, while others come into your life who feel like you have known for a long time.
  9. Witness time shifts. If time speeds up or slows down significantly within a single day, something may be shifting. For example, notice if you accomplish more than you thought you would in a day.
  10.  Be in the moment. You may notice you are very present and details of most of your activities from weeks ago or even yesterday are not easily retrieved. 
  11.  Practice clarity and focus. You may need to quell a hasty desire to switch direction and environments, or follow your instincts and allow for transitions.
  12.  Remain calm when memory ‘fails’. You felt certain and had clarity around previous event details, but now there is no evidence that it occurred. This may be a sign of a reality shift.
  13.  Use Sei-hei-ki. This Reiki symbol helps clear energy blockages. 
  14.  Use Cho-ku-Rei.  This Reiki symbol sends energy to the 10th chakra, located a foot below your feet, also helps with grounding. Invoke this symbol three times by drawing and speaking it aloud. Take 11 seconds to let it settle and feel the energy or heat.
  15.  Use Dai-ko-myo. This Reiki symbol is used to conclude your energy grounding and clearing if you have reached level 3 Reiki. Otherwise, use Cho-ku-rei again.  Repeat if needed.
  16. Consult a Reiki practitioner.  Even if you are attuned to Reiki and a practitioner yourself, it helps to have guidance and to be part of a community that shares personalized strategies to help support your practice and wellbeing.
