These Usui Tibetan Traditional In-person Reiki classes are situated in Riverbend S.E. and can be quickly learned by anyone even children. You will receive hands-on experience and instruction, and somewhere to come monthly to practice!

About Your Instructor
Carrell Mehl
I have been teaching since 2000 and healing myself through various means since 1997. I have been registered with the Canadian Reiki Association as a Reiki Master Teacher since April 2005 and had a position on the board of directors of the CRA from 2006 to 2014. My continued growth then found me as an apprentice on the Sweet Sundance Medicine a path of Shamanic teachings from Sept 2002 to Aug 2006. Sept 2006 brought me to the Institute of Shamanic Medicine to further my studies in the Shamanic Coaching/practitioner program completed in 2011.
My love for the holistic field then led me to the Wild Rose Wholistic Clinic and College as the office manager for Dr. Terry Willard from 2005 to 2008. This allowed me to keep myself immersed in what I truly love. I then continued to be a part of the Wild Rose Clinic and College as a teacher and consultant till the end of Feb 2012 which allotted me the opportunity to work full-time in my business to date.
My love for community and supporting my students and clients on their journey has successfully flourished into an integration of Reiki and Shamanism. A creation that has cultivated an environment of learning and soul-level healing of Earth Medicine practices for clients and students alike.
I specialize in accessing the Akashic Records, Tarot, and crystal therapy in my practice of Reiki and Shamanic Teachings. Utilizing the energetic pathways through the use of Shamanic techniques, medicine tools, ceremonies, and rituals. The focus is on the energy field and energy flow, which means to assist in clearing unhealthy energetics that can so easily hold us back from our life journeys. Grandmother Earth has so much to help us with our universal life force energy. The journey begins with the Reiki level 1 attunement that puts anyone and everything on a straight path of a remarkable journey.

Courses are required to be prepaid by Credit Card at least one week in advance to have time to read and go over class notes. Alternatively, you can Register manually and make payment through Square by Paypal or E-transfer.
Amounts include GST (No. 865464614). Please be advised that KI Lifestyle Solutions Inc. must be notified two weeks in advance of the class start date for cancellation. There are no refunds after the start of the two-week policy. If for any reason you are unable to attend the class there will be a credit held for one year to apply to another class of the same value that KI Lifestyle offers. KI Lifestyle reserves the right to change a class date if there cannot be a suitable replacement teacher because of circumstances beyond KI Lifestyle's control.

Do I need prior experience?
No - anyone can learn Reiki including children
How does it work? You are the conduit that opens up to receiving universal lifeforce energy that is then passed onto the person you are sharing the energy with. Reiki moves when it is felt needed in the space, you can allow and move with the flow. Reiki energy is pure love, the highest of vibration.
Will have opportunities to practice with others?
Yes, we hold Reiki shares twice a month one in person and one online.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes, it is a Canadian Reiki Association certifying you were taught in person by a certified teacher.
Do you ever lose your attunement if you don’t practice regularly?
No, once you are attuned it is with you for this lifetime. You can continue and pick up where you left off and may even find you have grown in your practice. You just may not recognize the benefits if you are not continually practicing with yourself and others.
Do I have to become a practitioner and create a business?
No, you can just use it for yourself, family, friends, and pets.
Do I have to worry about dark or negative energy?
You will learn to set up a proper energetic container and strategies to deal with offensive or dark energy. Remember Reiki is pure love and we are protected. However, humans also have an ego and free will which means we still need to be aware and have care for ourselves and others.
Where and why do you practice and use the gift of Reiki?
To help the body relieve stress and reduce low vibrating emotions and feelings. Help others and pets in distress to help the body heal itself. Great for supporting in challenging times with death and birthing or anyone in a phyiscal distress situation.
Are there ethical practices to follow?
Yes there is and will be shared in class based on the code of ethics provided by the Canadian Reiki Association. Do I have to become a Canadian Reiki Association member? - No you do not but we highly recommend it if you are going to become a Reiki Practitioner. And some folks like to support the association for ethical practices in our profession.
What types of settings do we use Reiki?
Complementary to allopathic medicine in all fields. Dentistry, hospitals, hospice, animal shelters and rescues, clinical settings, group and personal healings, and for the planet.
In Volunteer settings do I need to be certified?
Yes in most settings in today's world, they have a set of criteria to follow in order to volunteer.
