We Have Arrived! - 2024 is the Beginning!

Time to move no matter how small the step!

A-A-U-U-M-M - The OM mantra commonly used in meditation practices is also an amazing addition to Reiki and Shamanic Reiki meditation. Using OM in self-practices helps ground our bodies and connect our higher knowing with our physical human knowing. Feel the difference for yourself, in your next meditation practice.

This week and in the coming months, we are presented with an opportunity to become more aware of the aspects of self. By focusing on ourselves, we amplify our ability to bring harmony into our lives, while we embark on this venture of new beginnings. We spoke frequently in the last couple of months of this energy that the new year is bringing to help us prepare for the shift. More importantly to note, this shift will show up differently for each of us. Don’t be surprised, when comparing notes, if your experiences are different. Do recognize that everyone will be feeling major changes in some area of their life. Even though we share this same energy, we each have our own unique magical piece to work with. The question to ask is, “What is mine to do?”

This week, concentrate on connecting with the body and listening to its wisdom. What we are awakening to will be reflected through our chakras, our connection to human consciousness and the cosmos. It may show up through our intuition, higher learning, health, emotional intelligence, personal power, heart connection, creativity, and communication. This is the time to pay attention and hear what our next steps are as humanity moves into one of the most amazing times in history.

Harness some of the new moon energy this week to magnify the ability to hear what we are being called to create or experience…

If we have been listening to our bodies and higher knowing throughout 2023, we should be perfectly positioned to take action toward our goals and visions for the new year. If not, we may be faced with more chaos and uncertainty on the horizon. Does that mean it’s too late to be aware and awaken into this new realm? No! There are still opportunities to connect and harness this time of growth. There is no right or wrong. If it’s our divine timing, or ours to do, we will know it. All you need to do is allow the whispers to be heard and choose to hear them. No one person or thing alone can change our course. But if you are called as part of the collective to make change, your time is now. Our path and our work was all chosen and decided by each of us before we were born. Each soul selected their journeys of how they would heal, grow, and understand, in this lifetime. The only obstacles or delays will be determined by how our ego influences our actions, and how we use our free will to make choices along the way. 2024 will present moments when we will need to decide which branches to grab on to, and what to let go of. This is the pathway so we can create the world that illuminates the love and beauty we are. Innately, we all know that it comes down to the moment we wake and decide to walk The Fool’s Journey once again.

A wise guide once told me that one solid brick at a time is all that is needed to lay a strong foundation and to get started. This first brick is the confidence and surety of what feels okay or safe for you. That one foundational piece will allow creativity and fun to flourish. Be patient and sure as you lay your bricks in 2024.

A big change for the coming year is that Pluto is moving into Aquarius, moving all of these possibilities into the 3D reality of this world. Are we finally bringing the dream into reality? What are we doing to walk our talk and intimately feel and be all that we can be? The new moon for this week of January 11, 2024, is an opportunity to remove clutter, and open up to receive our desires, through manifestation. This is an ongoing process to continue defining what we want in our living and working spaces. Use journaling to uncover true feelings, values and desires. Allow divine guidance to lead you to what you must do to show up and explore the world. Find the authentic self hidden in the shadows. Our divine feminine is ready for the big reveal. She is potent with enthusiasm to greet us with all the new possibilities.

Remember patience, and to do the best with what you have. Monitor thoughts and actions of judgment on self and others. Judgment cripples our self power and attracts more of the same energy. This can be the one thing you work on all year and that will be okay. It will take time to catch those judgments as they are deeply programmed into most of us and often go unnoticed. Be the observer and not the critic. Resist the urge to review your success and score it! Embrace the opportunity to wake each morning to a new day, with a fresh start and a new beginning. We have the knowledge and wisdom to make these changes, we only need to be woken up to our true magnificence! Imagine all that we have been and all that we shall become; harness this power to reclaim what is our birthright, no matter who we are. This can be accomplished in many ways. The question is, are you ready to hear your inner voice, lay another brick of your foundation and take the actions necessary to honor yourself in love, beauty, and wisdom? If so, those actions will become reflections that come back to create this earth’s new reality and enhance your own life experience. Reiki and "The Veil"

The ‘Veil' - the dividing line between the divine, and this physical construct of earth. So many of us still don’t see the magic that can be witnessed between here and there. Often, you will hear that the veil is thinner than it has been at other times of the year, or during a spiritual retreat or ceremony. We are the creators of our existence. We have the power to make this happen, whether we are attuned and initiated into Reiki, or not. The difference between having Reiki as a lifestyle, as opposed to not having it, was revealed to me over the past couple of years. I see how quickly people are learning what took me 10 to 15 years to accomplish. Good news for those who waited, and also for those who started three decades ago. The time construct is an illusion. Time doesn’t exist, so really, we are all precisely where we need to be. Comparison using a timeline, really, is a process of our perceptions and what we align with in the moment. For example, I am currently in a new meditation practice, and a new experience has arisen. In this experience, a whole new reality unfolds, presenting a new opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of myself, and create more extraordinary experiences. Reiki will bring us all to this place eventually, guided and protected so our childlike wonder can develop and take us beyond the veil. Can we achieve this without Reiki? Absolutely, but as a person who is sensitive to energy, I find this modality has given me the love and grace to explore with childlike wonder. I still get to listen to, and follow my higher knowing, and it insists that I do so, but I get to move along at the pace of growth that serves me best (even if my ego thinks differently). Not all of it has been easy, but as parents allow their child to learn to walk and become more human, so does God, Spirit and the creator, allow us to develop in whatever way is intended for each of us. This reflection has both positive and negative aspects, from which we can learn. Soon, the child knows not to touch the hot flame or burning wood. Beyond the veil is where we can heal ourselves physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. This is where the supernatural kicks in. As this human experience unfolds, we get to observe, watch and learn. Become the watcher, become the magician, and orchestrate the reality your eyes desire to see. There is no prescribed timing, or amount of required waiting. We only need to allow flow, let go, and enjoy the experience. This is only possible when we are the closest to the veil, or when there is the thinning of the veil, as the veil itself on this side of the human experience creates the illusion. Reality awaits beyond the veil—the experience where we heal, grow, and evolve into our life purpose, the place of our universal connection to our creator self, and where we recognize who our guides, teachers, and higher self are, as well as the reality we desire to be in. When invoking the Cho-ku-Rei symbol, take your time, do it with intention and focus. Pause and wait to feel the energy. Really, DO NOT RUSH. Feel it, know it, and understand it. Even if we are seasoned masters, and have been doing it for a long time, this is all the more reason to do this step with intentional clarity and smoothness. As the veils are so very, very thin, you may be surprised by the magic, and how reality can change into beauty so quickly. If we spend too much time in a single state when we're out in the world, we can get stuck. If we no longer like this experience, we sometimes forget that we have the power and tools to change it. Reiki keeps us tuned and connected to creating our desired reality. Tips for aligning with the “Veil”: Invoke Reiki. Use the Cho-ku-Rei and Sei-hei-ki symbols and ground them into the Earth. Be slow and precise, and pause for at least 40 to 90 seconds after you invoke the emblem. Energy flow. Breathe and move the energy down to the one-point (Tan Tien). Open-heart connection. Simply touch the centre of your chest with your thumbs, keeping them in a prayer mudra position. Surrender. Open up to receive with childlike wonder. Calm the mind. Hear your breath or a continuous noise - no thought. Meditation. Starting with a simple OM Meditation is excellent, 10 to 15 minutes, allow yourself to feel. Breathing. Circle your breath - up from the bottom of the left foot and up the body over the crown, and then exhale down the right side. Consult your inner knowing. See if your inner knowing relays any messages, images, or body sensations. Pay attention . An image is worth a thousand words. Journal. Write, dream and create what those meanings are for you. Take action. Move and do one thing that brings reality closer to you. If you need help facilitating any steps, or still feel stuck, reach out. A little guidance will take you far.
